    PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It's been a disappointing trend for snow lovers: below-average snowfall in five of the past six winters, with two years not even getting an inch. The winter chill has also pulled a disappearing act, with above-average temperatures in nine of the last 10 winters. Four of them ranked in the top 10 warmest on record. So, will this year be different? Will winter lovers finally get buried in snow? For that answer, we're heading to the oceans.

Toni Daniels from 3 Husketeers Rescue in Spring City, Chester County says Zoey is about 9 years old and ended up at the shelter as an owner surrender due to a death in the family. She has idiopathic epilepsy, a condition that is controlled with medication.

IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION Back in November most of our area was in severe to extreme drought. With all of our recent rain events we have put a dent in that and now do not have any more extreme drought. The severe drought has also greatly lessened in coverage. https://t.co/Jg3uQyP1tz
