Abstract2,5-Furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA), a critical polymer platform molecule that can potentially replace terephthalic acid, coupled hydrogen coproduction holds great prospects via electrolysis. However, the electrosynthesis of FDCA faces challenges in product separation from complex electrolytes and unclear electrochemical and nonelectrochemical reactions during the 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) oxidation.

DiscussionLike previous studies, the present research demonstrated that neoadjuvant chemoimmunotherapy has favorable safety and efficacy in the treatment of ESCC. The pCR rates varied from 20% to 39.2% in different studies.11 12 14 The present study represents the largest sample size reported to date for neoadjuvant chemoimmunotherapy for ESCC. The pCR rate was ~20%. Predicting pCR in ESCC is crucial as it relates to the strategy of operation or organ preservation treatment.

Osteopontin (Opn) depletion can improve septic outcomes, but the underlying mechanism remains unknown. In this study, we demonstrated that non-haematopoietic but not haematopoietic Opn depletion improved septic outcomes. Compared to wild-type (WT) mice, co-housed Opn-/- mice displayed enhanced production of antibacterial peptides (AMPs), decreased bacterial loads, and a distinct bacterial composition of gut microbiota.
