The new technology, which cost £500,000 in total, catches drivers for offences such as driving through a no entry sign, making banned turns and entering a yellow box junction without a clear exit. But as of this week, cameras in some areas are still not live despite being fitted last autumn and a planned switch-on date of January 2025.

    How the new homes might look (Image: BHP HARWOOD LLP) New homes have been approved near Wycombe despite concerns from neighbours over the loss of an equestrian centre. Five two-storey detached houses, garages and 16 parking spaces are planned at Chequers End Equestrian Centre, Cadmore End. The plans, put forward by Messrs G.W., J.A and R.W Copas, were voted through by Buckinghamshire Council’s West Buckinghamshire Area Planning Committee on Wednesday evening.
