Cole Caesar was elected for Nigel Farage’s party in the Burnham ward, following Thursday’s vote to the unitary authority. He won 1,078 votes and was one of three councillors elected in the South Bucks ward. Conservative Paul Kelly was also elected, coming first with 1,289 votes, while Kirsten Ashman came second with 1,120.

The mistake is believed to have affected polling stations including Bourne End Community Centre and Flackwell Heath Community Centre.
