Bonnaroo, a four-day music and arts festival that's been held in Tennessee since 2002, announced a day after it started that it would be shutting down due to severe weather. The iconic festival, initially scheduled for June 12-15, gave notice to attendees on June 13 that the remaining days were canceled. Charleston funk rock act The Psycodelics were scheduled to play Bonnaroo’s Who Stage at 6:15 p.m. on June 14, but unfortunately the performance didn’t pan out.

Spoleto Festival USA just wrapped up its 17-day stint of art, music and theater across the Holy City. From operas to concerts to dance performances, there was so much to see and absorb. We're still ruminating on it all and likely will be for weeks to come. Art like this offers us so much, from escapist joy to meaningful introspection. These performances are a window into an imaginative world and simultaneously an interpretation of what is going on in our physical world.
