A Charleston comedian is now facing more than $30,000 in medical debt after a series of tests to find out why she gained 30 pounds of water weight in one weekend. Shawna Jarrett, who has been a fixture in the local comedy scene for over a decade and is also a visual artist, looks back on the past six months and now sees the red flags. The 42-year-old thought she was having escalating panic attacks. She felt out of breath and anxious walking in a large group at a theme park.

Darius Rucker's annual music festival returns to Riverfront Park in North Charleston this October with almost 20 acts playing on two stages. The lineup is here for Riverfront Revival, the two-day festival that will take place Oct. 10-11. A long-running outdoor music series is celebrating 25 years in Mount Pleasant at a popular venue that's currently under contract. The Knockout rounds on "The Voice" have taken out the two South Carolina connections to make it on the singing competition. Both Grace-Miller Moody and Page Mackenzie have now been eliminated after impressive runs on the program that showcased their unique voices that captured the hearts of the judges, as well as viewers watching nationwide. Moody, a Florence native and College of Charleston student, was cut in the first episode of the Knockouts on March 31, leaving Adam Levine's team.
