On Thursday, June 5, Clarksville firefighters responded to a ‘structure fire’ call, but only found smoke at the scene of the Steak ‘n Shake restaurant, located at 2819 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard in the parking lot of Governor’s Square Mall. At 2:51 p.m. Clarksville Fire Rescue’s units: Rescue 9, Ladder 9, Engine 8, Engine 11, Ladder 12, Rescue 12, Squad 1, Ops 2, Battalion 3 and District 3 were dispatched to the hamburger restaurant.

In a release on Thursday, June 5, the department released information on what to do if a fake DMV text message is sent your way. If you get this text, authorities said do not respond to it; do not click any of its links; and do not provide any personal or financial information.

Campbell Blvd. The incident took place near the intersection of Quinn Lane and Glenkirk Drive. Officers have detained three individuals, and the investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
