    Police have descended on a Kirkby road this afternoon due to an incident inside a block of flats. Officers can be seen on Roughwood Drive, with a cordon across the entrance to Beech Rise. People living inside the flats on the road have been told they are unable to leave the building. Reports from residents in the area said blood is visible at the scene.
