Police on Wednesday were searching for a shooter who they say opened fire at a warehouse in New Albany, Ohio, killing one person and injuring five others. Around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, New Albany officers responded to reports of an active shooter at KDC/ONE, a cosmetics manufacturer northeast of Columbus, Ohio, according to a statement from the city of New Albany. The shooting left one person dead inside the building, while five were transported to local hospitals.

The second round of heavy snow this week hits Friday and this time around Greater Cincinnati is in line to get 3 to 4 inches of snow. The snow comes as the region is still covered in the 10-plus inches that fell Sunday and Monday. The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the region that will be in effect from 11 a.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday. The advisory covers all Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky counties.

Winter Storm Blair buried parts of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana in snow Sunday and Monday but who has the most the most to dig out from? Some spots have reported more than 11 inches of snow accumulation, according to National Weather Service records. North Vernon, southwest of Columbus, Indiana, reported a measurement of 13 inches of snowfall at 10:58 a.m. Monday. The highest reading in the Greater Cincinnati vicinity was 11.4 inches in Aurora, Indiana.

A massive fire that engulfed the Daniel Carter Beard Bridge early Friday started in a playground below the bridge, according to Cincinnati fire officials. The fire appears to have damaged parts of the bridge. Officials from the transportation department will be assessing the bridge infrastructure and stability, according to Cincinnati Fire Department spokesperson Lindsay Haegele.
