Longstanding Sanford venue Tuffy's Music Box and Lounge has been listed for sale — but it's not going anywhere anytime soon, the business says. Orlando Business Journal's Trevor Fraser (ed. note: he was ours first) reported that the music venue and bar hit the market Tuesday, listed for sale by its owners, Tuffy's Entertainment LLC. First built in 1922, the 8,000-square-foot venue opened as Tuffy's in 2018.

Orlando Pride’s Barbra Banda was the target of “hateful” rhetoric by a fan at a Gotham FC match last week. Now, the New Jersey-based club has revoked the fan’s season tickets and banned them from all future Gotham FC matches and events. The announcement by the team came Wednesday, just over a week after the Pride faced Gotham during their home opener in New Jersey on Sunday, March 23.

Blue Man Group has postponed the start of its Orlando show once again. After a welcome ceremony and groundbreaking last September for the blue-hued international entertainment group's return to Orlando, the Blue Man Group has delayed its previously scheduled April 3 opening at its new 580-seat Icon Park theater. The theater is reportedly not completed, according to an email sent to ticket holders that promises full refunds, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Two Orlando bars announced they will close permanently, citing financial burdens associated with operating in downtown. Owners of HighT and 1Up took to social media Wednesday to announce the joint closures. The popular bars have faced "overwhelming financial strain" from recent restrictions placed on nightlife in downtown Orlando, like the After Midnight Alcohol Sales permit rule, plus the "decline of Church Street," owners say.
