If Ryan Poles, the Chicago Bears' general manager is right, the 2025 NFL draft could get "a little wild." Thus these wild times call for boldness. We have your boldness. The draft is just hours away and while no one knows what surprises await on Thursday in Green Bay, Wisconsin, these are some of our best guesses at what shakeups await.

For Todd McShay, the work is the same. The delivery, the execution. That's what has changed since the 48-year-old was part of ESPN's massive round of talent layoffs in the middle of 2023 and joined The Ringer and Spotify last fall. On "The Todd McShay Show," compared to his television analysis on ESPN (his employer for 17 years), McShay realizes that people are watching on YouTube or listening via their application of choice on their own volition.

At a certain point not long ago in the pre-draft process, the link between quarterback Shedeur Sanders, the New York Giants and the third overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft appeared broken. Then news broke Monday that Giants’ brass and head coach Brian Daboll were flying to Colorado for a private workout Thursday with Sanders, shortly before the first round kicks off.

Cam Ward, the frontrunner to be the No. 1 pick by the Tennessee Titans in the 2025 NFL draft on April 24, attended three schools over the course of his five-year college career. In another era – one without college athletes maintaining the ability to earn money based on their name, image and likeness and the transfer portal – the quarterback’s journey from Incarnate Word to Washington State and, ultimately, Miami (Florida) would have been highly unlikely, if not impossible.

Dan Quinn showed up to the 2024 NFL combine with multiple objectives – to evaluate that draft class’ prospects but also to recruit. As he built his staff ahead of his first season with the Washington Commanders, he wanted to leave Indianapolis with another name on the coaches’ roster. The target was a quarterback who had been on the Detroit Lions’ practice squad a year prior: David Blough, who was transitioning into coaching and had more than one team vying for his services.

Not nice Jon!!!

Duke’s loss tonight reminds of when Wisconsin lost a nine-point lead in the 2nd half of the 2015 national title with the National Player of the Year - Frank Kaminsky - on its roster. The Blue Devils had this thing on ice and they had Cooper Flagg. This one will last a lifetime.

I am very skeptical that the argument for banning the tush push is done in good faith. Here’s former #Eagles center Jason Kelce from ‘23 season: https://t.co/ivIO5o7QuA

A GM told me they'd need "data that it's more unsafe" to support ban. "I think it’s probably right now not enough data to say 1 way or another...just based on that play & the angles involved. There hasn't been a serious injury yet, but you could predict maybe there could be."
