Atlanta-based IPA 100 firm Aprio LLP (FY22 net revenue of $317.3 million) has announced its combination with Rubens Partners of Lafayette, Calif. Aprio will welcome 14 new team members, including partners Sharon Rubens and Linda Martins from Rubens Partners, effective Dec. 1. This addition marks a significant milestone in Aprio’s ongoing commitment to boosting its West Coast presence with the additional capabilities to support its growing client base.

FORVIS (FY23 net revenue of $1.7 billion), the eighth largest public accounting firm in the United States, and New York-based IPA 100 firm Mazars (FY22 net revenue of $258 million), will create a new global network effective June 1, 2024. The new, top 10 network will position both firms for continued global growth by expanding their capabilities to serve clients, especially those with international needs, the firms announced jointly today.

New Philadelphia, Ohio-based Rea & Associates (FY22 net revenue of $69.9 million) announced that Investment Partners LTD has merged with the firm. Rea & Associates offers services that include information services, cybersecurity, HR consulting, retirement plan consulting, as well as valuation and transaction advisory services. Adding Investment Partners means that the firm now offers wealth management services.

CLA (FY22 $1.6 billion), which IPA ranks as the ninth largest accounting firm in the United States, announced that Tacoma, Wash.-based Frost & Company joined CLA on Aug. 1. Frost & Company has served closely held companies, nonprofit organizations and individuals for more than 35 years in the southern Puget Sound area. The addition of Frost & Company further solidifies CLA’s commitment to the region, as it now has more than more than 30 professionals in Tacoma and Lacey, the firm announced.

Farmington Hills, Mich.-based IPA 100 firm UHY LLP (FY22 net revenue of $298.1 million) announced that it is expanding its presence in the Northeast with the combination of Bigelow & Company, located in Manchester and Portsmouth, N.H.The combination of firms, effective July 31, brings Bigelow’s deep history in New Hampshire to UHY’s existing Northeast presence spanning nine locations in New York and Connecticut. Nationally, UHY employs over 1,600 professionals in 34 U.S. offices.
