    At the beginning of 2023, many CMOs were lamenting that the anticipated recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic didn’t look like it was going to happen this year. In May, the annual Gartner CMO Spend and Strategy Survey reported 71% of CMOs felt they wouldn’t have enough budget to fully execute their strategy. In addition, 75% were facing pressure to cut technology spending, and 86% were planning significant changes that would enable them to do more with less.
