    At around 5.30 p.m. on the 17th of May 1974, three massive explosions ripped through Dublin City Centre in the Republic Of Ireland. Around 90 minutes later another explosion occurred in Monaghan, a town just south of the border with Northern Ireland (UK). No warning was given. 34 people including an unborn baby died and 300 were injured.
