Cal Raleigh — the Mariners catcher known by many as “Big Dumper” — is entering territory no other catcher has before. He’s swatting homers, seemingly with ease, from both sides of the plate, and he’s doing it at a record pace. It appears Pete Carroll might not be done with the NFL just yet. Carroll, the former Seahawks head coach, would like to return to coaching next season and has interest in the Chicago Bears’ head-coaching job, according to a report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Wednesday morning. This is the first time Carroll has been connected to a new coaching job since his firing nearly a year ago on Jan. 10.
