TOWN OF LITTLE BLACK, WI (WSAU) – A 28-year-old man from Withee died in a rollover crash on Sunday morning in Taylor County. Sheriffs deputies were called to the scene of the crash around 6:15am on Gibson Drive. A Dodge Ran 1500 pickup went off the road and overturned in the ditch. The driver has been identified as Eric James Doberstein. Investigators say speed and alcohol were factors in the crash. No other vehicles were involved, and there were no passengers in the vehicle.

PHILADELPHIA, PA (WSAU) – Jake Bauers delivered a two-run double in the 7th inning to lift the Brewers over the Phillies, 5-2, on Sunday. The rally was set up by a throwing error from Phillies shortstop Trea Turner that would have ended the inning.\Jose Quintana returned from the injured list. He pitched 5 innings and allowed 2 runs. The rally allowed the Brewers to sweep all three games in Philadelphia and extend their winning streak to 7 games.

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – The Wood County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help from the public in locating a missing teenager, Ethan. He was last spotted at the Wisconsin Rapids Walmart around 8:45pm on May 31. Ethan is a 16-year-old with blonde hair, standing approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 120 pounds. According to the sheriff’s department, he left his home near the City of Pittsville earlier that day, wearing a black polo shirt and tan shorts.

CONLEY COMMENTARY (WSAU) – This morning I’d like to give you an update on two faith-based projects that I’m involved in: the Joseph Project and the community meals at the Wausau homeless shelter. I’m happy to share that the Joseph Project, the jobs program for the homeless and those who want to get off welfare, had graduated 18 students. Many of them will be starting their new jobs this week. I also have an announcement about the Joseph Project.

CONLEY COMMENTARY (WSAU) – Suppose a very intelligent teenager from Saudi Arabia has applied to Princeton, and has the grades to get in. Another high schooler from the United Arab Emirates applied to Columbia, and was accepted. The final step in the approval process is a visit to the U.S. embassy in their home country to apply for a student visa. But there’s a problem. The Saudi student has an Instagram account that’s full of bloody pictures of the October 7th invasion of Israel.
