It’s been 10 years since the Ice Bucket Challenge washed across the internet, bringing people together to spread awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) as participants had buckets of ice water poured over their heads and nominated others to do the same. In this SC Featured, our colleagues at ESPN reflect on a challenge, a hope and a legacy. Vital in kicking off the challenge was the late Pete Frates, who was 27 when he was diagnosed with the rare illness in 2012.

Las Vegas investigators are optimistic they'll be able to determine the identity of a homicide victim whose body was discovered inside a barrel last May on the shoreline of Lake Mead. "One of the most important things to me ultimately is that we solve our investigations. If there's a way for us to forensically solve that investigation using the DNA lab, we will do it.

The Hollywood star was walking the red carpet when he was interviewed by Lore’l, host of Morning Hustle. “We go way back, all the way back to Chad Science in Newark,” Lore’l said, before Jordan immediately referenced comments she had made on a separate podcast - explaining how other students would “make fun” of his name.
