PARAGOULD, Ark. (KAIT) - There’s a new skipper off of Highway 412. Crowley’s Ridge College hired Spencer Adcock as their new head baseball coach. A press conference was held Wednesday afternoon in Paragould. Adcock comes to the Pioneers after building ASU-Mountain Home from scratch into a JUCO success. “At the end of the day, we want them to play the game the right way,” Adcock said. “We’re going to coach them hard, coach them well. We’re going to push the envelope.

ATHENS, Ga. (KAIT) - Bri Ellis made history in more ways than one on Wednesday. She hit a walkoff grand slam as #1 Arkansas beat Georgia 5-1 in the 2nd Round of the SEC Softball Tournament. Ellis’ 26th home run of the season passed Braxton Burnside Easley’s mark set in 2021. The Paragould native sent a congratulatory message on social media.
