By Mary Ann White and Chris King I appreciate the concern for safety on Grand Avenue as I walk my dogs there every day at different times. The new stop signs are very concerning to me. The main issue with these stop signs is they are already causing more congestion from Park Road in both directions, making it unsafe to cross. The other issue is the stop-and-go traffic causes more exhaust from vehicles, which stays in our valley.
