As a registered dietitian and exercise physiologist, I usually recommend that guys get 30 to 40 grams of protein in at each meal and 15 grams in at each snack. Importantly, Congress will need to take action to rewrite many laws, passed with broad bipartisan support, to facilitate such closure. Today’s action does not close the Department.

    Rucking is simple—yet awfully effective. The act of walking with weight on your back boosts physical and mental strength, burns calories, and builds muscle in the lower body. The great thing about rucking is that any movement with weight on your back counts. Technically, all you need to ruck is a backpack and weight plates (or books, a 10-pound bag of rice, potatoes, water bottles—anything with heft). Some packs are better suited for rucking than others—and some are the best.
