He is accused of stealing $300 from a co-worker’s purse in November 2021. He was released on a promise to appear in court. A Bronx, NY woman was arrested April 30 and charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

OLD LYNE, CT — The National Merit Scholarship Program has announced this year's $2,500 scholarship winners, including an Old Lyme student. The 2,500 winners were chosen from a pool of 15,000 finalists. The awards were selected based on an evaluation of their accomplishments, skills, and potential for success in college. Christopher B. Gibbons, who attends Lyme-Old Lyme High School and has a probable career field of linguistics, was awarded one of the scholarships.
