Police said that there's a flier circulating which erroneously claims there's a party at Waterford Town Beach this Saturday. The flier requests attendees "bring drinks" and that there will be a bonfire on the beach. "Lets see if CT lit/ Pack ur carssss" the flier literally reads.

GROTON, CT — The second suspect in a father-son duo linked to a Groton bank robbery and hours-long standoff at a local motel that ended in gunfire has died, according to police. Shaun Fallon, 56, of Charlestown, Rhode Island, died due to his injuries Monday at 8:47 p.m. The state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of his death.

MILFORD, CT — A woman is accused of leaving a gun in a fanny pack at a Milford restaurant recently, according to police. Police responded to the Buffalo Wild Wings at 1201 Boston Post Road on June 12 on a report of a found gun. Police investigated and arrested a 28-year-old Bridgeport woman. She is accused of leaving her fanny pack with a loaded gun in the busy restaurant's bar area, police said. She was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and unsafe storage of a firearm.
