When a friend offered to sell a 2014 Tesla Model S P85D with AWD and 700 horsepower for just $10,000, I couldn't resist. As apprehensive as I was, I did a lot of research and found a ton of people still driving these cars with over 100,000 miles on them, so I took the leap, sold my Nissan Frontier, and brought home my new-to-me EV.  For the past three months, I had been daily driving the car with no issues other than having to replace an air shock–just took a few hours in the shop to replace.

Update by Paris Van Gorder to the Ford Mustang GT project car Feb 19, 2025 | Ford, SCCA, Ford Mustang, SCCA Club Spec Photograph by Chris Tropea Before we could raid the parts store for our 2006 Ford Mustang GT, we needed to consult the SCCA Club Spec Mustang rule book. With those considerations in mind, we also researched our model before adding spares–for example, rear bearings–to our shelves as well. Want smooth execution for your project car?
