The time was 5:00 a.m. We’d arrived at 2:45 a.m. The same clerk who checked us in was still hanging out at the front desk when it was time to leave.

Eating quick, cheap food for a week straight doesn’t do your digestive system any favors. Call it an unexpected impact of competing in the Tire Rack One Lap of America Presented by Grassroots Motorsports. Despite that, our One Lap team, Tom Suddard and Andy Hollis, carry on the good fight from behind the wheel of their Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. For Day 6, participants had not one but two venues of competition: hot laps at Pitt Race followed by a drag racing session at Quaker City Motorsports Park.
