Not just a rare race car from a golden age of motorsports, but one with a fully documented history, too, which includes the 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring. One of just 23 examples produced, this Chevron B16–chassis No. DBE04–is noted to be an earlier model fitted with the Cosworth FVC engine, and the first of its kind to be built in 1970. Purchased new by British driver Brian Robinson in 1970, the Chevron competed in the 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring in its debut year.

The next best thing to owning a screen-used James Bond DB5? How about one built specifically to promote the famed franchise–and built by famed movie car builder George Barris? Per the seller, the DB5 is believed to have been sourced directly from Aston Martin, which used the car as a works racer and fitted it with the engine from a DB6. When Barris converted the car to resemble the DB5 used in Goldfinger, he is noted to have made use of the same sketches used to build the film’s hero car.

By David S. Wallens Jun 3, 2025 | Jeep | Never miss a review My wife and I were bumping along one of the many dirt roads that cross the nearby Ocala Forest. Hey, this is kinda fun, we agreed. What’s a Veritas? The short version is that it was a West German builder of racing and sports cars in the late 1940s and very early 1950s. As for this specific Veritas, it’s one of the company’s earliest models, the RS. Starting with a prewar BMW 315/1 chassis, the car was fitted with a tuned, two-liter inline-six engine from a BMW 328 and then covered with an all-aluminum body. Johnny Claes, co-founder of the famed Équipe Nationale Belge racing team, was the first owner of the Veritas.

Not just one of the wildest Corvettes on the market, but one of the rarest, too: This Greenwood Corvette, C006, is one of just 12 known to have been constructed. C006 was campaigned at Daytona and Sebring in 1976 by Javier, George and Manuel Garcia. The following year, Javier and George competed at Sebring again, this time joined by Jack Baldwin, a racer who would go onto winning his class at Daytona (1984) and Sebring (1984 and 1987).
