A 23-year-old woman was arrested and charged Thursday in connection to the crash that killed three friends in Maryland last year, including an NFL draft pick, according to Prince George's County State's Attorney Aisha Braveboy. On July 6, 2024, a three-car crash killed Minnesota Vikings rookie Khyree Jackson, 24, Isaiah Hazel, 23, and Anthony Lytton, Jr., 24. The three had played football together at Wise High School. Lytton was a cornerback for Penn State who also played for Florida State.

A high school student was found guilty of the threat of mass destruction for writing a 129-page "manifesto" outlining a mass shooting plot at Wooten High School and an elementary school last year. The two-day trial took place in December, and during a hearing Wednesday, a Montgomery County Circuit Court judge found 19-year-old Andrea Ye of Rockville, who goes by Alex, guilty of one count of threat of mass destruction.

(7News) — Prosecutors revealed evidence for the first time that potentially links Manassas Park man Naresh Bhatt to the disappearance of his wife during a court hearing Friday, which ended with the judge denying his bond. Mamta Kafle Bhatt, who is presumed dead, was last seen at the end of July and has had no contact with family and friends since she was reported missing.
