    After overcoming a sluggish start, the University of Hawai‘i men's volleyball team advanced to the NCAA national semifinals with a 25-19, 21-25, 25-23, 25-23 win over Penn State at the quarterfinals in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday. Hawai‘i improved to 27-5, while Penn State's season ended at 15-16 overall.     After a battle with pancreatic cancer, surfing legend Clyde Aikau passed away at his Waimānalo home on Saturday. He was 75. News of Aikau's death went public on Monday afternoon after his family announced the news. Clyde Aikau is the younger brother of iconic Hawaiian Eddie Aikau, the former lifeguard, surfer, waterman and namesake of the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational.

    The NFL's Los Angeles Rams are coming to Maui. On Monday, the Los Angeles Rams and the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority (HTA) announced a partnership to promote tourism in Maui and Hawai‘i.
