Of the 10 new building permits issued across the state this past week for projects exceeding $1 million, two are for projects in the Huntsville area. One of those is for a new Food City location on Governors Drive. Here’s what we know about these new building permits:The grocer will invest $90 million to build six new stores and create 1,350 jobs over the next five years. Developers broke ground on the Hampton Cove store — off US 431 and Taylor Lane — in July of last year.
