THE UN’S NUCLEAR watchdog has said there has been no increase in radiation levels in Iran after the US bombed the country’s nuclear sites overnight. The International Atomic Energy Agency said it had not detected any change in radiation levels ‘as of this time’. Nearby countries also reported no change in radiation levels. Both Saudi Arabia and Kuwait said that they had been monitoring the situation and the situation is ‘normal’.

There is not another military in the world that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!”. The move was widely unexpected.

LORD HENRY MOUNT Charles, best known for staging huge concerts at his home at Slane Castle, has died at the age of 74. His family announced today that he died peacefully late on Wednesday evening. He had been diagnosed with cancer some time ago. Slane became a byword for massive concerts over the past four decades, beginning with Thin Lizzy and U2 in 1981.

FORMER US PRESIDENT Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. A spokesperson said that doctors had initially found a “small nodule” that required “further evaluation”. Biden was diagnosed with cancer on Friday, which has metastasised to the bone. “While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management,” the spokesperson said.

GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING THE disappearance of Kerry farmer Michael Gaine have sealed off an area that had previously been examined and begun a new search of the land there. In a brief statement late on Friday night, gardaí confirmed that they had “recommenced” a search at lands in Carrig East, Kenmare, Co Kerry. “An Garda Siochána is not in a position to provide any further information at this time,” a spokesperson said.

So sorry to hear this. Aodhan was in court day in and day out, reporting diligently and fairly for so many news publications. There are lots of court cases the public wouldn’t know about if it wasn’t for his reporting. He did this country some service. May he RIP.
