NEW YORK (PIX11) — It was another gray and gloomy day around the tri-state area as a storm system continued to funnel clouds in our direction. Fortunately, most locations had little if any rain to deal with, and it wasn’t as chilly as it was yesterday. Central Park clocked in with a high of 56 degrees, which was a good 10 degrees warmer than Saturday afternoon. Winds were kept at bay as well. Expect the clouds to remain in place as we move into the evening and overnight hours.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — After basking in summer-like conditions yesterday, tri-staters got a reality check as temperatures tumbled back to seasonably cool levels. Afternoon highs only managed to reach the upper 40s and low 50s, and most areas were stuck under the clouds throughout the day. Central Park checked in with a high of 48 degrees, which was 7 degrees below normal. It was just the sixth time this month when afternoon highs were below 50.

Central Park clocked in with an afternoon high of 53 degrees, which is 5 degrees above normal. In addition, winds were an issue again as gusts in excess of 30 mph were seen across the area. Expect conditions to cool down a bit this evening.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — It was a tale of two seasons across the five boroughs this weekend. The month of March started off on a very Spring-like note yesterday as temperatures rose into the mid and upper 60s. Unfortunately, Old Man Winter returned today and spoiled the party, dropping temperatures into the 20s and 30s. Central Park clocked in with an afternoon high of just 34 degrees, a good 12 degrees below normal. The winds were an issue as well, gusting over 40 mph at times.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — The tri-state area took a big step out of its deep freeze today as temperatures rose into the upper 40s and low 50s across the region. Central Park clocked in with an afternoon high of 46 degrees, which is 2 degrees above normal. It was just the seventh day this month in which afternoon temps were above normal. Expect conditions to cool down a bit this evening. We won’t see a big drop in temperature though thanks to an increase in cloud cover.
