    Summer is a glorious time of the year to be spent in Denver. Though the first day of summer isn’t technically until June 20 this year, we’ve already had some lovely weather and the summer events – from outdoor art exhibits to free concerts in the park – are getting the season started. The Denver Botanic Gardens has a new outdoor exhibit – the first in roughly five years – now on view.

  • Denver schools make wishes come true

    Nine Denver schools helped make some special wishes come true during this academic year. Students at these schools participated in Make-A-Wish Colorado’s student-led fundraising program, Kids For Wish Kids. The high schools’ Wish Week fundraising activities and events were unique to each school, and ran the gamut from a 5K and a dodgeball tournament to a talent show and school assemblies.
