    Lakewood Police arrested a psychologist serving students at two Jefferson County high schools on May 9 on suspicion of sexually assaulting a child and committing several other felonies. James Michael Chevrier, 38, who worked at Green Mountain High School and Bear Creek High School, was taken into custody May 13 following a Safe2Tell report that accused him of sexually assaulting a female student. Police said they immediately opened an investigation and interviewed potential victims and witnesses.

    Douglas County Sheriff’s Office detectives on Monday arrested a Roxborough Intermediate School teacher on suspicion of sexually assaulting a child. David Feil, 49, of Littleton, was taken into custody by detectives with the Special Victims Unit. He faces two counts of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust. Feil has worked for the Douglas County School District since 2014. He is currently being held at the Douglas County Detention Facility without bond.
