Seaside House by Alexandra Kidd Interior Design is the culmination of mid-century ideals and international influences. Set within a bayside enclave, the spaces are earthy, tactical and permeable, enveloped by mesmerising daylight and spirited layering. On the sandy bays of northern Sydney, a verdant corner site contains a dwelling of stone and timber. The architecture is an embodiment of different styles, both past and present, and of quintessential harbourside living.

The owner of Helix Residence on Sydney’s Lower North Shore approached architect Daniel Boddam with a desire to expand their existing Californian bungalow to suit the needs of their young family of five and to embrace views of the harbour.

Studio Prineas transforms a Federation cottage in Sydney’s Lower North Shore into a warm, dynamic family home, blending modern living with a sensitive approach to heritage alterations. Boasting an original heritage facade, a leafy garden and a sprawling jacaranda tree – hallmarks of the neighbourhood – Alpha House seamlessly blends into the streetscape. The design brief called for a contemporary extension that would embrace the site’s gardens and provide space for the clients’ three children.
