Digital health and nutraceutical company Wellkasa has acquired supplement brand Peak + Valley for an undisclosed price. Nadine Joseph, founder of Peak + Valley, which sells $29.99 adaptogenic capsules Restore My Sleep, Nourish My Brain and Balance My Stress, will stay on as an advisor to Wellkasa co-founders Melissa and Sumit Mehrotra. Melissa Mehrotra, president of Wellkasa, will take on the role of CEO at Peak + Valley.

A meeting about planned work on High Street is set for Thursday evening in Southampton. It’s what the Town calls a ‘public information centre’ and is meant to be an opportunity for residents and local businesses to review project plans. It will deal with construction, parking, traffic and the project schedule for phase one of the project which is from Victoria Street to Grosvenor Street. The meeting is planned for April 10th from 5:30 to 6 p.m. at the Southampton Town Hall.

The Town of South Bruce Peninsula says phone scammers are pretending to be from the local fire department. The Town says in a release, the scammers are targeting local residents by calling them and claiming to represent the South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department, asking for $500 donations via credit card or e-transfer. The Town says the South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department does not solicit donations by phone and would never ask residents for money in this way.

Grey Bruce OPP are looking for a man reported missing from the Wiarton area. Police say they are trying to locate 46 year old James who was reported missing at about 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 6th. He is described as caucasian, 6 feet tall, weighing about 180 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a New York Rangers jersey, blue jeans, a black coat, boots and a blue jays ball cap.

There’s a new four-way stop at Waterloo and Mill street, one at Bricker and Mill Street, and one at Bricker Street and Catherine Street. Police say to be aware of the new stops, or you may be ticketed.
