LATEST UPDATE at 3:50 p.m., Tuesday May 27A single-vehicle collision in South Laguna claimed the life of a Laguna Beach father and seriously injured his daughter yesterday afternoon when their vehicle careened over a 40-foot embankment, landing on the sidewalk of Coast Highway, according to the Laguna Beach Police Department. Local authorities have identified the man as 64-year-old James Politoski, LBPD spokesperson Lt. Jesse Schmidt stated today.
