EVO Entertainment in Southlake is now Hooky Entertainment. Signage from the entertainment venue has been taken off the location in Southlake Town Square. A temporary sign on the entrance along Park Place shows the new name. The top three fastest all-time marks in the girls 1-mile race have come at various times at the HOKA Festival of Miles. Now, the top four times ever have come at the race in St. Louis During the HOKA High School Girls Championship Mile race on Thursday, June 5, Jane Hedengren from Timpview, Utah, ran 4:23.50 to shatter the national U.S. record. That mark was set by Sadie Engelhardt from Ventura, California, who ran 4:28.46 in a 2024 race here.

The Grapevine City Council approved a contract to move another historic house to downtown. During the May 20 meeting, H.D. Snow and Son House Moving, Inc., was given a contract to relocate the historic Tate House from 122 W. Peach St. to the Cotton Belt Railroad District.
