The Oklahoma Sooners have increased their recruiting efforts, specifically, in the state of Georgia. Part of that effort is Jake Godfree. The 2027 linebacker out of Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett picked up his offer from Oklahoma back in May of 2024. The Sooners are on an impressive early offer sheet that includes Ohio State, Michigan, Tennessee and many others. Godfree obviously resides deep in SEC territory. But he's quickly gotten to know more about the Sooners since they joined the conference.
