    A middle-aged man is still recovering from injuries after a fellow patron knocked out two of his teeth in a bar. Bedda Otiego Esonga, a teacher at a prestigious international school in Nairobi, is accusing Maurice Ochieng Achieng of attacking him at a bar in Umoja Inner Core on 6th January 2025. On the day of the incident, Esonga, accompanied by a friend, entered the bar, which was full but managed to find a small table in the corner.

    Army church Bishop Samuel Ogallo has said same-sex marriage should not be encouraged in the country as it goes against Christianity teachings and beliefs. Bishop Ogallo emphasized that the church only recognises the marriage of different genders as they are expected to give birth and fill the world.
