    Seven people were injured and several houses set ablaze at Chepchoina Phase 3 settlement scheme in Trans Nzoia over land ownership. Appearing before Makadara Resident Magistrate Stephanie Bett, Naftali Kahwak Gacheru was accused of defrauding Ann Njoki Mwaura of the stated amount between 11 and 16 September last year, within Kasarani, Nairobi County, while pretending to be in a position to secure employment for her daughter.
