Appearing before Makadara Resident Magistrate Stephanie Bett, Naftali Kahwak Gacheru was accused of defrauding Ann Njoki Mwaura of the stated amount between 11 and 16 September last year, within Kasarani, Nairobi County, while pretending to be in a position to secure employment for her daughter.

    A woman from Kasarani Sub-County, Nairobi, has denied stealing items from a man’s house in Kasarani after a night of merry-making with him. Lucy Nyaguthii, according to court documents, is accused of stealing electronics worth Sh378,000 from Musa Juma on September 20 last year.

    A middle-aged man is still recovering from injuries after a fellow patron knocked out two of his teeth in a bar. Bedda Otiego Esonga, a teacher at a prestigious international school in Nairobi, is accusing Maurice Ochieng Achieng of attacking him at a bar in Umoja Inner Core on 6th January 2025. On the day of the incident, Esonga, accompanied by a friend, entered the bar, which was full but managed to find a small table in the corner.
