Baldwinsville, N.Y. – What a difference a quarter can make. Baldwinsville boys lacrosse held Fayetteville-Manlius to just one offensive possession in the third quarter of Thursday afternoon’s matchup, shutting the Hornets out 6-0 to take a 12-10 lead into the fourth quarter. But F-M sprang right back, blanking Baldwinsville 5-0 in the final period to win it 15-12 in a back-and-forth early-season SCAC Metro contest.

DeWitt, N.Y. – Dressed in a pair of flip flops and a Hawaiian shirt, Bob McKenney took the stage in the Bishop Grimes gym alongside a group of faculty members and students on a Friday in late March. But this wasn’t a basketball game, of which McKenney has won over 600, it was the musical performance of “Mamma Mia!” put on by the Bishop Grimes student body. Syracuse, N.Y. — Some are on spring break, but Section III’s boys lacrosse players have already had a busy week. 25 Section III teams were in action yesterday, highlighted by West Genesee’s 18-16 win over Baldwinsville, an 11-8 win for CBA over LaFayette/Onondaga and a 12-10 victory for Tully over Jordan-Elbridge.
