Now openPeak Physical TherapyPeak Physical Therapy is now open in Argyle, according to company staff. The facility offers outpatient physical therapy primarily focused on musculoskeletal conditions, including non-surgical and post surgical treatments, for patients from teenagers to the elderly, said Clinic Director Eric Terrazas. The clinic also offers concussion management training for athletes and will serve around 10 to 12 patients per day.

A new restaurant featuring authentic Northern Indian cuisine, Spice & Tonic Indian Cuisine & Bar, plans to open in the Highland Village Marketplace. The menu includes dishes such as chicken tikka masala, samosas, pakoras and garlic naans, which are baked fresh according to Spice & Tonic’s website. During lunch service, diners can order a thali, which includes a variety of dishes, company staff said.

Seven developments in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex were sold as part of an $800 million real estate transaction, according to a news release. Houston-based real estate firm Hines sold 11 communities across Texas, including Furst Ranch in Flower Mound, Argyle and Bartonville and Aster Park in McKinney, to a joint venture made up of an affiliate of Miami-based Starwood Capital Group and an affiliate of Land Strategies Management, per the news release.

After receiving a recommendation of denial from Flower Mound’s Planning and Zoning Commission, a decision on the proposed mixed-use development, Lakeside East, has been delayed. Flower Mound Town Council unanimously voted at the April 7 meeting to table consideration of a master plan amendment and zoning change that would allow for a mixed-use development on over 21 acres along FM 2499 between Lakeside Parkway and Spinks Road.
