Marcus Rashford's best showing yet in an Aston Villa shirt was not enough to rescue the Villans from a Champions League exit on Tuesday night. Villa came into the second leg chasing a 3-1 deficit from Paris, and the tie appeared over when PSG took a 2-0 lead on the night. However, Youri Tielemans' goal late in the first half (in which Rashford played a vital role) at least gave the home fans hope, before they nearly pulled off an all-time great European comeback.
