Vitamin D Deficiency and Pediatric Obstructive Sleep Apnea Severity Key PointsQuestion Is vitamin D deficiency associated with higher obstructive Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI) in children with severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)? Findings This cross-sectional study including 72 children with severe OSA found that 37.5% had vitamin D deficiency and that lower vitamin D serum levels were associated with higher obstructive AHI scores.
