Lynn Rollins, Madison Allen’s mother, said she never stopped looking. “But I never stop. I never stopped looking for my daughter, and I never will,” she said. Rollins said the last time she talked to her daughter was in November of 2023. “Oldest daughter, Madison Allen, she vanished from the home she was staying in in Zachary, Louisiana,” said Rollins.

    BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) —  The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a shooting near the Amazon Fulfillment Center at Cortana Place on Monday, April 29, that left a former employee dead. BRPD said Daylon Anthony, 21, was shot and killed on the property. Detectives confirmed that Anthony and an employee were involved in a fight around 11:20 p.m. outside the main entrance of the facility. According to BRPD, the accused gunman left the area before police arrived.

    BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Louisiana lawmakers are hoping a proposed bill that would create a recreational marijuana pilot program gets passed during the session. There are 20 states in the country with legalized recreational marijuana, but Louisiana is not one of them. Democrat State Representative Candace Newell is proposing HB627, which would create a pilot program to have adults test recreational marijuana for three years.
