A New Orleans man was arrested after multiple expensive motorcycles were stolen from residences in Gonzales over the past week. David Williams, 28, was arrested by Louisiana State Police Troop NOLA, accused of illegal possession of stolen things. Williams also has warrants out from Gonzales PD for three counts of theft of a motor vehicle. He is awaiting extradition to Ascension Parish. According to police, the thefts began at a Gonzales apartment complex.

Two men were arrested in an undercover operation in Baton Rouge last week after containers of protein powder filled with a fentanyl-laced substance were allegedly shipped to them from California through UPS. Decorey London and Kenterrius Kelly were arrested April 14 by DEA and Homeland Security agents on one charge each of possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute.
