In the final 24 hours of Oklahoma's 2025 legislative session, lawmakers from across the state exercised a final check on executive power by overriding dozens of Gov. Kevin Stitt's vetoes. Many of the bills originally passed with wide bipartisan support and will now become law as scheduled despite the governor's opposition.
