Home › Destinations › Mount Cook Flyover – Best Ending Ever T.S.Eliot famously wrote that the world would end not with a bang, but with a whimper. Obviously he had never been on an Adventures Abroad tour which always aspires to end with a bang and this New Zealand tour is no exception.

Home › Destinations › Otago Peninsula – One of New Zealand’s Finest Day Trips In the last post on this Adventures Abroad tour of New Zealand we landed in the southern city of Dunedin which is the gateway to one of New Zealand’s must visit places, the Otago Peninsula. In this post we’ll spend the day exploring Otago starting with a visit to New Zealand’s only castle and following it up with a visit to Taiaroa Head which we’ll explore by land and sea.

Home › Destinations › Doubtful Sound and Queenstown This is my fourth post from New Zealand’s South Island as part of the Adventures Abroad tour of this amazing country. In the first two we visited the Marlborough wine country, took a train ride through the Southern Alps, glimpsed Franz Josef glacier and took a jet boat up the Haast River before arriving in Queenstown for a day on our own. On that free day Alison and I chose to play golf at the Millbrook Resort in nearby Arrowtown.

Home › Destinations › Millbrook Coronet Course Hole by Hole Alison and I have a free day in Queenstown in the middle of the Adventures Abroad tour of New Zealand and have opted to play golf at the Millbrook Resort in nearby Arrowtown. This is a five star resort on 650 acres of prime real estate at the foot of the Remarkables Mountain Range. It has two 18 hole courses, Remarkables and Coronet, the latter of which we will play today.

No better place for a mid-winter getaway than the Blomidon Inn in Wolfville. The meals here are as good as any in the Province with very professional service, great local wines and great ambience in the home of former ship builder Captain Burgess. @TravelMediaCA https://t.co/22dBjy63b5

Some photos from my latest post on https://t.co/pqO1TEnC4a which comes from Tombstone and Bisbee, Arizona, two iconic towns that could not be more different in appearance and history. https://t.co/5qxS6v8AOZ @visittombstone @ArizonaTourism @TravelMediaCA @satw https://t.co/QbOAfwQjtf

Of all the great places we visited in Arizona last November, none impressed me more than Chiricahua National Post. Read my latest post to find out why this place should be on everyone's bucket list. https://t.co/IHWNW8ahC1 @ArizonaTourism @TravelMediaCA @satw https://t.co/xKYYR2E0C2
