    ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - Another Cardinals’ game has been postponed due to rain. The Redbirds’ Tuesday night game in Philadelphia has officially been postponed. A doubleheader will be played Wednesday, with the first game starting at 12:05 p.m. Central time and the make-up starting at 5:15 p.m. The Cardinals have swept their last two doubleheaders, against the Reds on April 30 and then versus Mets on May 4. The two wins over the Mets started the team’s 9-game winning streak.

Center Mark Schefele left in the first period of Game 5 on Wednesday night with an injury and did not return. According to a report by Jets color analyst Mitchell Clinton, Schefele will not even make the trip to St. Louis. Clinton’s tweet reporting that information was later retweeted by the Jets official account.
