    OLDS – About 160 people attended a gala banquet at the Pomeroy Inn and Suites on Saturday night to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Olds Golf Club Society. The current 18-hole championship Olds Golf Club is located just east of Olds at 33042 Rge. Rd. 12 in Mountain View County. The Olds Golf Club has had four locations over the past century after being started by a group of local businessmen.

    OLDS – The Olds Grizzlys have traded a pair of players for player development fees, officials said in a release. Esteban Labelle, 19, was sent to the St. Jerome Panthers. A native of Mirabel, Québec, Labelle played 39 games with Grizzlys in the 2024-25 season, scoring five goals and garnering nine points, along with 98 penalty minutes. The Alberta Junior Hockey League Grizzlys also sent forward Phoenix Flett to the Drumheller Dragons.
