CICT-DT, which broadcasts on virtual channel 2 and UHF digital channel 41, is a television station owned and operated by Global in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The station is part of Corus Entertainment. Its studios are situated on 23 Street Northeast and Barlow Trail in Calgary, close to the Mayland Heights area. The transmitter can be found near the junction of Old Banff Coach Road/Highway 563 and Artists View Drive, at the outskirts of Calgary. Additionally, CICT serves as the main control center for all 12 Global owned-and-operated stations throughout Canada.

Police in Hanover, Ont., say they have made an arrest in connection with the fatal hit and run that left a 66-year-old woman dead and the suspect vehicle torched. A 33-year-old man was arrested on McNabb Street, according to a release from police. Two White Rock, B.C., businesses are speaking out about what they say is a rise in crime in the community, after both faced smash-and-grabs and break-ins over the weekend. Mounties have released video of one of the Saturday morning incidents, in which a thief grabs a large rock, then throws it through the glass door of Crystal Smoke and Convenience.
