Today for Father’s Day we stayed cloudy, with times of mist or drizzle. Rain totals were very light throughout the day with much of the rain today occurring in the early morning hours. Tonight we will be cloudy with a few showers developing into early Monday morning. Most will deal with just some drizzle and fog on Monday morning.

The entirety of the day so far has remained dry as highs upped the ante and climbed to touch 80 in the afternoon. Now, we get to the part of the forecast that most likely aren’t begging for. Expect the first showers to roll into the Midstate late in the evening, followed by an overspreading of rainfall over the course of the overnight.

We’re now starting to see showers arrive in some of our western counties as of 5pm. Expect most of the most populated areas to see rain around 8-9pm before clearing out around midnight. Rain totals will not be high unfortunately with less than a quarter inch expected. Warmer trends immediately follow today’s somewhat cloudy day.
