An approaching area of low pressure will be the main focus of the Sunday forecast. This system has had quite the history of wind damage and tornadoes over the southern United States. Locally, the damp/humid humid will translate to scattered morning showers with a line of storms likely during the afternoon/evening.

An active weather pattern is likely as central PA remains in the middle of cold air to the north and mild air to south. While this may seem like this should bring more moderate weather, the temperature difference will drive multiple storms into the region along with fluctuating periods between warmer and cooler air.
